What Is Reiki Holistic Healing?

Reiki Holistic Healing was rediscovered in the early 1920’s by Mikao Usui, he started to teach others that Reiki was a spiritual path, a self-healing method and a path to enlightenment. Reiki has been taught to various religious backgrounds so is not limited to who may receive it. The word “Reiki” or “Rei-ki” translates in the West as meaning “Universal life force energy”.
The energy that Reiki practitioner’s work with is “Chi” the same energy that acupuncturists use when inserting needles to encourage the flow of energy. The intention of this energy is to harmonise your energy system and bring it into balance. Aligning the Seven Chakras of the body, which start from the crown of the head to the base of the spine. This balance is putting your body in the best possible position to heal itself on all levels; Mentally, Emotionally, Physically and Spiritually.
Reiki holistic healing is all about achieving a state of balance in your life at all levels. Because It requires the acceptance of change, change for the better, finding what is right for you in life so you can make decisions to improve your life path.

Reiki holistic healing is even used in UK hospitals. In fact at the time of writing, a UK hospital in Lincolnshire was advertising for a Reiki therapist to provide spiritual healing to cancer and ‘acutely unwell’ patients.
